- Lonestar Quarter Horses began in 1996 with the purchase of 130 acres north of Houston, Texas and the plan to breed a select number of top quality futurity prospects for both western pleasure and hunter under saddle. The mild Houston climate during foaling season usually allows for mares to foal outdoors. All babies are handled on a daily basis, and are taught good manners as well as the basics -- leading, tying, longing, loading in a trailer, standing for the farrier and to be clipped. Started slowly as two year olds, our colts are ready for for the performance areas they were selectively bred for.

- Occasionally, an individual joins Lisa in a completely different arena challenge as demonstrated by Lonestar Magic: Cowboy Mounted Shooting
